The “L” and “B” in LBC have always pointed to two things: lemon bioflavonoids and B vitamins. Here is a plain-English look at the first of those.
What are bioflavonoids?
Bioflavonoids (also called flavonoids) are natural plant compounds. They help give fruits and vegetables their color, and citrus fruits are one of the richest sources. Much of a lemon’s bioflavonoid content is found in the peel and the white pith just under it, the parts most people never eat.
Why lemon bioflavonoids?
Bioflavonoids are often paired with vitamin C because the two occur together in citrus fruit. LBC Complex+ follows that same natural pairing: each daily serving provides 200 mg of lemon bioflavonoids alongside 500 mg of vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.*
What is in a daily serving of LBC Complex+
- Vitamin C – 500 mg
- Thiamin (vitamin B1) – 20 mg
- Vitamin B6 – 50 mg
- Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) – 20 mcg
- Pantothenic acid – 20 mg
- Lemon bioflavonoids – 200 mg
The serving size is 2 capsules or 2 tablets a day, with or without food.
